WLBT Three On Your Side: Update on Junky Jackson Properties: There are several updates on run down and junky properties we've featured in recent news reports. Currently the department of Community Improvement is working over twelve hundred cases of code violations....The city had to finally come and clean up the property, and they plan to send a bill to the land owner. A cleanup fee will also be sent to the owner of 1426 St. Mary Street, where a once trashy yard can now once again pass code in the Belhaven neighborhood.
